Farmer’s son Saurabh Chaudhary shoots Asian Games gold on his senior debut at the age of 16. Tuesday morning turned out to be golden morning for India. 16-year-old Saurabh claimed the Gold in 10m pistol finals.
He became the fifth Indian shooter to win the gold medal in Asian games and this is the 1st gold medal in 18th Asian Games shooting event. At the mere age of 16, he showed maturity beyond his age. In the finals, he snatched the gold away from 2010 World Champion Japanese Tomoyuki Matsuda.
Saurabh Chaudhary scored 240.7 against 42years old Matsuda who scored 239.7.
